How do I choose the right English School? Tuition & Quality

There are hundreds & hundreds of ESL schools across the country. The quality ranges from poor to excellent.

Important: high price does not always mean high quality, but in general, if you are paying less than $200/week (20 hours), be careful! In addition, some English colleges employ teachers who are qualified to teach & speak English well, BUT they are not native speakers (ie, they are from Brazil or India). Is that what you come to Australia for?

As an English student, you will study under a 570 subclass student visa. This allows you to work for up to 40 hours in every two-week period, and full time in school holidays. Working gives you the chance to earn some money, make new friends outside the classroom, and develop your English skills in a real-life environment. English programs taught in Australia

Study EnglishGeneral English - General English programs focus on developing your communication skills, especially speaking and listening. Most schools offer beginner to advanced levels.

Business English - This program is for students who want to develop their English for the workplace. The courses focus on the situational and functional language of day-to-day working life.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) - This program prepares you to study in an English-speaking university or college.
